Surviving in Place
Outcome, Summative, & Impact Evaluation
The Surviving in Place program will launch a Backup Power Supply Program Application for Colorado Medicaid recipients in need of essential medical equipment during power outages. Key program outcomes include higher levels of preparedness for dealing with emergencies or power outages, reduced number of emergency room visits during power outages, improved quality of life for individuals with chronic illness and their caregivers, and confidence to remain living in the community rather than in assisted living facilities.
Evaluators will conduct surveys with program recipients to measure program success.
