Needs Assessment/Planning

Overview

Supporting the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to update the Statewide Needs Assessment of Primary Prevention for Substance Use. The assessment was first completed in 2018 and supports the Violence Injury Prevention – Mental Health Promotion Branch of CDPHE to better use resources to strengthen Colorado’s substance use prevention services.

Assessment Approach

Along with updating the Statewide Needs Assessment, a Listening Tour shall be strategically conducted to hear what is working, what are the concerns, identify barriers, and build rapport for substance use prevention services.
