Engineering is Not Neutral: Transforming Instruction via Collaboration and Engagement (ENNTICE)

Formative Evaluation

Overview

ENNTICE is a three -year faculty learning community aimed at integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of teaching, research, and service. Participating faculty gather for monthly workshops designed to promote self-inquiry, improve course design, build community, and strengthen advising, mentoring, and collegiality.

Evaluation Approach

For this formative evaluation, the lead evaluator attends planning meetings and serves as a strategic learning partner to the project team. The evaluation relies on participant observation, interviews, and focus groups to assess the functioning of the ENNTICE leadership and provide feedback for program improvement.
