Baseline Assessment
Overview
The Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block grant program objective is to help plan, implement, and evaluate activities that prevent and treat substance use disorders. Under recent funding, Colorado’s SABG grantees developed their strategic plans through fiscal year 2025.
Evaluation Approach
Evaluators are using digital story map software to design,
develop, and publish a digital map of funded SABG prevention grantees. Data from each community’s five-year strategic plan are used to provide baseline information about communities’ priorities and program focus. Digital stories will include maps, narrative text, and embedded media.
