Implementation & Process Evaluation
Overview
The Evaluation Center is providing data collection and analysis services to the study team of the BfedBwell for Families and Emily Hill, PhD. The project aims to adapt a curriculum for adult cancer survivors for child survivors of cancer. TEC is working with the study team to finalize plans, assist in data collection, complete rapid qualitative analysis of the data, and develop a brief deliverable detailing the key findings to inform the ongoing study.
Evaluation Approach
The evaluation approach uses a collaborative, iterative process to guide data collection, conduct qualitative analysis, and provide actionable findings after each phase to inform subsequent activities. Process mapping sessions with clinicians will identify key barriers and facilitators to integrating lifestyle programming into survivorship care. Semi-structured interviews with childhood cancer survivors and their caregivers will explore participant needs, experiences, and preferences for programming. Findings from these sessions, along with iterative review and collaborative feedback from the childhood cancer survivors, their caregivers, and providers will directly inform the refinement of program content.
