Senior Evaluation Specialist

Lauren is a Senior Evaluation Specialist at The Evaluation Center. She is an applied social science researcher with extensive experience in program evaluation for a wide range of clients. She has mixed-method training in data collection and analytics including conducting and coding interviews and survey building and distribution. She is also proficient in qualitative and quantitative statistical software, allowing for efficient and advanced data analytics and visually appealing program evaluation reports.  

As an applied sociologist, Lauren is passionate about providing organizations with the knowledge to make data-driven decisions that can inform internal program planning, funding opportunities, and broader policy. She is committed to collaborating with clients to provide quality, detail-oriented data reports that are presented in a digestible manner for broader audiences to understand the significance of the material. 

Before her employment with The Evaluation Center, Lauren served as a Senior Professional Research Assistant within the Criminal Justice Research Initiative at the University of Colorado Denver. She managed a team of skilled graduate research assistants while being the lead researcher on several grant-funded program evaluations. Her role involved data collection and analytics and served as the liaison between the research team and the clients to ensure clear communication during the evaluation process. 

Lauren holds an M.A. and B.A. in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, being outdoors, and singing in a local Denver choir league.
