Ryan has extensive experience in business development, research consulting, program evaluation, and academic research. As a decades long science enthusiast, Ryan is particularly interested in the scientific literacy of the public, and his work at The Evaluation Center helps make sure that the benefits of scientific discoveries are truly beneficial to humanity. His interests dovetail nicely as a member of the evaluation team for the Colorado Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CCTSI), which focuses on improving the process bringing basic health science discoveries into medical practice, and ultimately improving global health. In this role, Ryan works on the collection and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data to ensure that the CCTSI is operating efficiently and effectively. Additionally, Ryan provides assistance on any other projects that could benefit from his research experience.

Before joining The Evaluation Center in 2022, Ryan worked as a research consultant at The University of Northern Colorado (UNC). During this time Ryan assisted graduate students and other researchers at the university with forming research questions, research design, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of results. Ryan was also a statistics tutor for undergraduate students at UNC.

Ryan holds a B.A. in Psychology, and a M.S. in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Northern Colorado. Born and raised in Conifer Colorado, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys backpacking, rafting, running, and hiking. In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
