Celia Martinsen-Burke
She/Her
SEOW Coordinator
Celia is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics at the Colorado School of Public Health, Anschutz Medical Campus. As graduate assistant at The Evaluation Center, she coordinates the State Epidemiology Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW), supporting its activities and facilitating communication between The Evaluation Center, SEOW, and its stakeholders.
Celia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Informatics and a minor in Personal Health from Arizona State University. During her undergraduate studies, she developed an interest in health data, health communication, and community-based prevention. This interest culminated in her undergraduate capstone project; a mobile application to combat misinformation and improve reproductive health literacy in young women. Celia also studied abroad in Costa Rica, examining health behaviors and longevity in one of the world’s Blue Zones. These experiences deepen her commitment to bridging data, communication, and action in public health practice.
In her free time, Celia enjoys tending to her garden, baking new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
