Drew is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Colorado Denver with a focus on Cultural and Medical Anthropology. As a Graduate Assistant at The Evaluation Center, he assists in data collection, grant monitoring, and other evaluation efforts of the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant funded by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health.

Drew received his B.A. from The University at Albany while majoring in Linguistics and minoring in Anthropology and Psychology. Between his undergraduate and graduate careers, he spent several years bartending including some stints in national parks and other tourist locations. Drew is passionate about qualitative methods and the ways in which they provide new and nuanced information. He aims on using his skills in qualitative data collection and analysis to further understand and highlight health disparities and the social determinants of health.

In his free time, Drew enjoys playing video games, watching TV or movies, and occasionally a long bike ride. He also enjoys giving plenty of love to his cat, Hyatt.
